NoveraMed was built by the founders of Novera Group around a single conviction: life sciences programs are generating extraordinary science, and most of them are struggling to communicate it. Not because the science is hard to explain. Because the people explaining it have never done science.
Ranee, our Chief Scientific Officer, holds a PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Immunology and Oncology. Her doctoral work in the Macian lab explored T cell exhaustion and transcriptional regulation in immune responses. Her time in the Cuervo lab added deep training in autophagy and its role in immune regulation.
Embedded in research, she saw the same gap from the inside: investors who could not follow the biology, HCP materials that flattened the mechanism of action, publications sitting in queues while congress deadlines passed. Medical writers without genuine scientific backgrounds were being handed complex biology and asked to make it compelling. The result was content that was either inaccurate or uninspiring. Often both.
